About us

The DCMM Conference Section provides the logistics technical services for meetings held both at and away from OAS headquarters. A group of conference specialists is responsible for planning, budgeting, and coordinating OAS events. As every meeting is different, it is important for the area organizing it to be in contact with a conference specialist to discuss all the event’s needs. The specialist prepares a tentative budget covering such things as use of conference equipment and the hiring of interpreters, translators, room assistants, and control audio operators.
